New things

These are the new things I picked up from town yesterday.

Models own polish in Ibiza Mix - £5
Essie polish in 32 - £7.99
American Apparel jumpsuit - £40

Wish list

'Wish list', now when I say wish list, I actually mean, stuff I REALLY want but would never be able to afford in one shopping trip.. or a years worth of shopping trips for that matter.
I'm really into American Apparel stuff at the moment, ever since buying my disco pants I've not looked back!

01.The first item I picked out from AA was their chiffon shirt with a pussy bow tye, I absolutely love the colour of this shirt, and to be honest haven't really seen another quite the same! However they are soooo stupidly over expensive, for something you could get in Primark for a fraction of the price.. but it just seems nicer coming from AA.. yano?
02.In the store near my house they've styled it with the dungerees I've put next to them, and it looks awsome. Pair of frilly socks, and you're away. Seeing as me and Alex have been looking at holidays lately, I need a bikini, and I LOOOVE this high wasited stripey one from American Apparel, I think it gives a really flattering shape and I like the colour combo of the stripes.
03.The USA print tshirt was sort of random, I don't like it that much, just think its quite a cool one to pair with my levi denim shorts and maybe converse and again, frilly socks (can't get enough). I'm looking for more summery jumpers lately 04.(lighter/fresher/less woolen like), and this one just seems perfect. I love this material and the colour looks almost edible, I think paired with the neon pink polish and some of the American Apparel shiny nylon leggings it would look perf.
05.Lately I through away a load of my shorts from a few years back, so naturally, I'm looking into getting some more, (I like the ombre shorts everyone seems to have/have their eye on in Topshop at the moment, and also all the neon colours that look like they'd look beautiful with a nice tan.. sob sob) ALAS, I love these high waisted cut offs from American Apparel, I 06.like the colour, the cut, the fit. yeah. The next item isn't really me to be honest, but I can just see this looking good under again, Levi's, or a sheer chiffon skirt or even shorts.
07.The nail varnishes are just something pretty for my eyes, I've been looking for a neon pink polish for ages, the type that you can usually only get at a professional nail bar. However I like this one, same with the glitter polish (just bought myself Ibiza mix from Models Own, lovelove).
08. 09.I'm obsessed with the American Apparel frilly socks, so the picture I've inserted is kind of self explanatory. I want some more. Same with the tights, I love! and just think they're very me.

01 - Chiffon Secretary blouse £54
02 - Denim short all £76
03 - Stripped bikini, high waisted shorts, top £14 bottom £22
04 - Screen printed unisex power washed tee - US flat vertical £26
05 - Unisex velour long sleeve raglan £26
06 - Light wash high waist jean cut off short £54
07 - Cotton spandex jersey bandeau body suit £22
08 - Neon pink polish £7
09 - Galaxy glitter polish £7
10 - Sheet luxe punctuation pantyhose £22
11 - Black and white frill sock £8

aaaand on to shoes, and a little bit of Pixi makeup.
01.I saw these converse in the teens section of New Look a couple of days ago, and for some bizzar reason, they just caught my eye, they are also a bargain price! therefore I may just have to return.. tehe.
02.I've wanted some standard creepers for a while now, just black ones would do me, however I saw these on a cheapy shoe website for £30, I love the fact they have the little dalmation print detailing, makes them a little different I think. The shiny 03.shoes on the right from Topshop just please my eyes to be honest, and I can just imagine them with tonnes of summery dresses/jumpsuits for the summer/holiday.
04.I've wanted a classic pair of black and white Converse for ages and ages, but have just never got round to getting any, maybe once I start working and get my first pay through, I shall go through with the purchase!
06.My friend actually just bought a pair of the Adidas Honey shoes, and I just love them, they look like they'd go with pretty much anything, and I'm really into -sportswear- at the moment, ha!
07.I already have an all grey pair of Nike air max's, so seeing as S/S is coming up, I'd just love to get my hands on some more colourful ones, and these ones are just lovely coral/fresh colours!
08.Reebok classic hi-tops, I'm pretty sure I've wanted these since I was about 15. Basically!
09.10.11.Pixi makeup is quite new to me, but if I've got my research right, I think around 90% of their products contain no parabens/alochol etc, which obviously makes my troubled skin veeery happy. I also want to try something lighter for the summer (instead of a heavy foundation), so this Pixi Fresh Face seems perfect for that. (the eyeshadow palette also caught my eye, I've been after a NAKED palette for so long, and this palette just seems to have all the right colours, and more!)

01 - Leopard print converse, New Look - £10.99
02 - Spike flat forms, Chokersshoes.com £30
03 - Magda metallic lace up shoes, Topshop £30

10 - Nude shade wardrobe eye palette - £18.50
11 - Endless silky eye pen - £9.50

Pine cone head

hello ! Today I've been to the mall with my mum and her friend, and then to other shops with my mum because she needed to print some photos for my brothers school project.
I've felt quite tired today! My body naturally woke up at 7.50am! So thought I might aswell just get up and ready :) I actually really like this outfit, never thought to put it together before. My mum said it didn't go together, but what do mums know ay! (just kidding <3)
My lipstick is Barry M, I like it, but its quite a cheap looking red, if that makes sense.. quite 'tarty'? ha. Its good for some looks though, but today it was just the first one I happened to grab (was in a bit of a rush to catch our lift to the mall this morning).
I actually didnt end up buying anything. But tried an Essie polish today, which I really really really want, the finish is SO nice and shiney, and I needed one coat to cover my nail, and it dried super fast.
Anyway, hope you've all had a good day in the sun and managed to catch some of the rays!! :)
chow for now xxxx

PS- hype me on Lookbook!

Is this love that I'm feeling?

hello everyone :)
today I went to town with Alex to hand out yet MORE CVs.. :(
he treated me to a soy hot chocolate from Starbucks which was a nice morning treat! We're trying a new diet mainly for skin, Alex is just doing it for 'support', bless him. I'm basically eating all the foods I ate when I was younger to attempt to get rid of my eczema again once and for all! That involves no wheat/gluten/fizzy drinks/alcohol/egg/bread.. basically all the good things in life. No doughnuts, no getting drunk, no having beans on toast!!! I have had tuna every single day since starting it, and Alex has had brown rice hahah! Its been weird not being able to have a drink on a bank holiday, especially when the whole WORLD seems to be going out and having a good time. I'm actually going out tonight with a few friends, but wont be drinking, Its okay though, sometimes it doesn't bother me, I am also a pretty good 'fake drunk' hahah.. Bless me.
Today is kind of a casual/'fashionable' outfit to make the employers of Topshop, Dune and Fossil notice me.. lol
I couldn't really put much makeup on my face today seeing as my face eczema is playing up again :( but I don't think it looks that bad on camera, especially as I only have foundation dotted around my eyes, on my nose, and on my chin. I think if you've got a bright lippy, along with dark eyes, foundation doesn't matter all too much.
PS Apologies for already wearing this shirt and cardigan combination already.. I have so many more clothes I can/will be show casing on this blog yet today I chose to do pictures and am wearing something I've worn before! aha, ah well. Also apologies to the fact I look around 5 years old, couldn't be bothered with hair today bah.

jumper - Repycho
shirt - Rokit
ring - Mango
disco pants - American Apparel
socks - American Apparel
converse - Office

New Things

Yesterday I ran into town to hand around some CVs to places that are recruiting in my local shopping center at the moment, I'm really hoping I hear something back seeing as I'm getting desperate! Desperate for money of course but also desperate to meet new people and have something to do with my day.

ANYWAY, I ended up finding myself wondering into American Apparel and picking up the red Disco Pants I have admitidly been lusting after for sooo long now.. I already have black Disco Pants, which I wear pretty much every time I go out because they are just so versatile (and bootylicious), so I thought, why not! However after getting them home and trying them on infront of the mirror.. my gosh arent they short! I'm deffo going to have to shape up my legs/eczema etc if I actually want to brave wearing these out on a regular basis (probably only out to town to be honest.. or to dress up.. or in Summer? probably not in Summer though seeing as they are BRIGHT red and practically pants..

But yes I also updated my moisterizer seeing as at the moment I've resulted to the old cut the top off trick to get as much out of the tube as I can. £14.50 for Avene Tolerance extreme cream, £14.50!!! So expensive.. but its the only thing that doesn't actually make my skin sting when I apply it and always give me a smooth face, not to mention its a perfect base for makeup, so I suppose it justifies itself..I also bought some crop tops from Primark, I plan to wear these underneath kind of sheer tops or tops I have with slits in the side, I think it looks a lot 'cooler' than showing your bra (even though I do that too), I just like the ol' crop top look. I also bought a body .. suit? kind of thing. Its really tight seeing as its a size 8 and I swear in Primark you just have to get a size like.. 12 even if you are a.. 6?! but Anyway it has a really cool scooped neck at the back and really reminded me of something you'd pick up in American Apparel for quadruple the price! I think it would look really cool with some jeans/disco pants/disco shorts!

I also picked up some Models Own polishes (my first ever purchase from their brand), and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH AHH. The photos don't really do them much justice seeing as for some reason my stoopid camera wouldn't focus up close.
but ya, all in all quite a nice little 'haul' I thought, if you wan't to call it that..

Chow for now lovies xo

OPI and Minnie Mouse

Just read on Twitter that OPI are teaming up for a collaboration with Minnie Mouse?! WHAT?! This is amazing, from what I can see of the newly released images of the polishes they look fricking amazing.

I'm definitly getting my hands on the mini collection! I also will deffinitly be needing the 'Nothin' Mousie Bout' It' shade, which is packed full of sparkles/glitter AND hearts?! ahh so cute.

I am actually really in to pink shade at the moment, and have actually just recently been looking for a shade JUST like 'I'm All Ears'. I think pinks are great for Spring/Summer this year and are always nice when you want to feel especially girly. I usually go for dark nail polishes if I'm honest, however I wouldn't think twice about buying/trying out these new polishes from OPI. Seeing as they are collaborating with Minnie Mouse I would have actually expected more shade of Red/white/yellow, rather than Pink, I think this collection would possibly be more suited to a Disney Princess collaboration, but still.. loving this!
Big love
